The below shots of a pair of adult Black-bellieds at a nest box were taken at Brazos Bend State Park, Fort Bend Co., Texas in April, 1998 with a Canon EOS 1N and 300mm F/2.8 L lens and 2X extender on Fuji Sensia 100.

The below shot of a pair of adult Black-bellieds was taken near Brownsville, Cameron Co., Texas in May, 2005, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.

The two Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks in the below shot were at Port Aransas, Nueces Co., Texas, in February 2006. The shot was a digital capture with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 500mm F/4 L IS lens.
