The American Lady (Vanessa virginiensis) is a widespread species from South America northward across the United States abd parts of Canada. The top 3 shots on the left were taken at Austin, Travis Co., Texas, in November, 2007, and were shot with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
