The Australasian Pipit (Anthus novaeseelandiae) is also called Richard's Pipit by some authors. The species is found across Australia. It is also found in New Guinea, New Zealand, as well as being widespread across Africa and Asia. This species may occur on some of the islands off the south coast of New Zealand as well. The two shots here were taken on Enderby Island in the Aukland Islands of New Zealand, in December, 2001. The shots were taken with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 70-200 mm F/2.8 L lens and 2X extender on Fuji Provia film.
