The Broad-billed Hummingbird (Cynanthus latirostris) occurs across much of Mexico and the southwestern United States. The male at right and below was photographed in April, 2003 in Patagonia, Santa Cruz Co., Arizona. These are digital shots taken with a Canon EOS 10D and EF 600mm F/4 L IS lens with a 1.4X extender.
