The Broad-winged Skipper (Poanes viator) is widespread across the eastern half of the United States. The top 3 shots here were taken near the shoreline of Lake Michigan in Oostburg, Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin, in August, 2003, with a Canon EOS 10D and an EF 180mm F/3.5 Macro.
