The Ceraunus Blue (Hemiargus ceraunus) is a fairly common tiny butterfly ranging from parts of South America northward to Texas and much of the American southwest. The top shot on the left was taken in Kenedy Co., Texas, in June, 2000, with a Canon EOS 1N and an EF 180mm F/3.5 Macro lens and 2X extender and Fuji Sensia 100 film.
