The Collared Aracari (Pteroglossustorquatus) occurs throughout much of southern Mexico into northern South America. The bird shown here was photographed in December, 1999, at Chan Chich Lodge near Gallon Jug, Belize. The shots were taken with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 300mm F2.8 L lens and 2X extender and flash on Fuji Velvia film.
