The Common Citril (Ceriagrion glabrum) is a widespread damselfly of much of Africa, Madagascar, as well as some islands in the Indian Ocean. The shot of a male shown here was taken in January, 2006, on the Nyl River at Nylstroom, Limpopo Province, South Africa, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash.
