The Double-striped Bluet (Enallagma basidens) is a widespread damselfly
of rivers and streams across much of the U.S. The photo here,
of a breeding pair, was a digital capture in May 2003 in Bastrop
Co., Texas with a Canon EOS 10D and EF 300 mm F4 L IS lens with
a 1.4 X extender and 550 EX flash.
