The Egyptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiacus) is an Africa species occurying in the Nile Valley and many other locales. The bird shown here was near the Satara Camp, Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, in January, 2006. The images were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 500mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
