The Empress Leilia (Asterocampa leilia) is a fairly common member of the Emperor subfamily which occurs in the American southwest and Mexico. The top 3 shots on the left were taken in Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona, in April, 2003. These images were shot with a Canon EOS 10D and an EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS lens and 2X extender. More images of this species will be added soon.
