The Galapagos Penguin (Spheniscus mendiculus) is an endemic bird of the Galapagos Islands and occurs farther north (the equator) than any other penguin species. The shots here show several Galapagos Penguins swimming at Punta Moreno, Isabela Island, in July, 2007. These shots were taken from a small boat with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 100-400mm F/4.5-5.6 L IS lens.
