The Gambel's Sprite (Pseudagrion gamblesi) is a large, tropical damselfly which occurs from Kenya into n.e. South Africa. The male shown here was photographed along the Gladdespruit River, Nelspruit, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, in January, 2006, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash.
