The Green-throated Carib (Eulampis jugularis) is a beautiful hummingbird which is resident in the Lesser Antilles, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The shots shown here were taken on the island of Saba in the Lesser Antilles in July, 2001, with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 500 mm F4L IS lens on Fuji Velvia.
