The Kersten's Sprite (Psuedagrion kersteni) is widespread over much of east and parts of north Africa. The photos on this page were taken along the Olifantspruit River near Nysltroom, Limpopo Province, South Africa in January, 2006. All images were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender with a 580 flash.
