The Little Hermit (Pygmornis longuemareus) is a resident of humid forest from southeast Mexico to Ecuador and Brazil. I have not been able to get any nice photos of this species but I have posted two of the ones I do have. This bird was photographed at Rancho Naturalista, near Turrialba, Provincia de Cartago, Costa Rica in October 1995. A Canon T-90 and Sigma 500mm F4.5 lens with a 50mm extension tube with a Fresnel flash was used for both photos. The film was Fuji Sensia 100.
