This page will have images of unknown Megaphorus species robber flies. Many species are very difficult to identify, especially from photos. I will post images here with date and location photographed just in case they can eventually identified. The individual on the left was at Fort Clark Springs, Kinney Co., Texas, in May, 2005. I only got this one shot before the fly flew off. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2x extender and 580 flash.
