	The Mountain Lion (Puma concolor) is also known as Puma or Cougar. This cat is widespread but scarce in western North America and it ranges southward into South America. The animal shown here was a captive at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona. The shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens.
