The Northern Black Korhaan (Eupodotis afraoides) is a fairly common resident bird of scrubby grasslands of southern Africa. The two shots here of a male (top) and a female (below) were taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia, Africa, in October, 1998. These two shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1N and EF 300mm F/2.8 L lens and 2X extender and Fuji Sensia film.
