The Pacific Black Duck (Ansa supercilliosa) is a widespread dabbling duck of much of the Pacific region including Australia, Indonesia, New Guinea and New Zealand. The three shots here were all taken near Hobart, Tasmania, in November, 2001, with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L lens and 2X extender on Fuji Provia film.
