The Painted Reed Frog (Hyperolius marmoratus) is a fairly common and widespread frog of southern Africa. The images were were taken in Limpopo Province, South Africa, in January, 2006. The shots were made with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash.
