The bridge over the Pecos River on U.S. Highway 90 in Val Verde Co., Texas, is a well-known landmark of west Texas. The "Pecos High Bridge" is 273 feet above the river and is the tallest bridge in the state. The shot here was taken taken in September, 2006, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and an EF 28-105 lens.
