The Phoebus Parnassian (Parnassius phoebus) is a high elevation species of the Rocky Mountain regions from New Mexico to Alaska. The top 2 shots on the left were taken on Mt. Washburn in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, in August, 1999, with a Canon EOS 1N and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Fuji Sensia 100 film.
