The Pileated Flycatcher (Xenotriccus mexicanus) is an endemic bird of Mexico which occurs in arid mountain scrub in eastern Michoacan south through Guerrero and Morelos and into Oaxaca. The bird shown here was at Monte Alban, Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico, in April, 1993. It was photographed with a Canon T-90 and FD 400mm F/4.5 lens on Kodachrome 64 film.
