The Red Rim (Biblis hyperia) ranges from South America northward to Mexico and far south Texas, where it is usually considered a rare stray. The top 6 shots on the left were taken near Pearsall, Frio Co., Texas, in November, 2007, and were shot with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
