The Ruddy-capped Nightingale-Thrush (Catharus frantzii) is a resident of montane forests from parts of Mexico south to Panama. The birds in the top four images here were in the El Triunfo cloud forest of Chiapas, Mexico, in March, 1993. The images were taken with a Canon T-90 and FD 400mm F/4.5 lens and Fresnel flash on Kodachrome 64 film.
