The Salisbury Sprite (Pseudagrion salisburyense) is a fairly common and widespread African species. The shots here of a male, female, and pair in tandem were taken on the Olifantspruit River near Nylstroom, Limpopo Province, South Africa in January, 2006 with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender with a 580 flash.
