The Speckled Hummingbird (Adelomyia melanogenys) is a South American Hummingbird found in Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia and Bolivia. The one shown here was at a feeder near Macchu Picchu, Peru, in July, 2006. The shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
