The Tamaulipas Crow (Corvus imparatus) is a resident of northeastern Mexico as well as the very southern tip of Texas. The species has occurred in Texas for more than 30 years, but some years it may be very hard to find. The top two shots here were taken in southern Tamaulipas, Mexico, in May, 2007, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 500mm F/4 L IS lens.
