The Upland Goose (Chloephaga picta) is a goose of southern South America and the Falkland Islands. It is very common in the Tierra del Fuego area and on many of the Falkland Islands, actually regarded as a nuisance in some areas. The males are white and the females brown. The shots here were taken in January, 2004, on West Point Island in the Falklands with a Canon EOS 10D and EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS lens and 1.4X extender.
