Two Utah Scenics. In June, 2001, I spent a few days near Vernal, Utah, photographing birds. While there I took a few scenic shots of the landscape. Below is a shot of a rock formation I liked just outside of the city. I was here photographing Vesper Sparrows so I took a few shots of some of the spectacular scenery. Both the shots on this page were taken with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 17-35 mm F/2.8 L lens on Fuji Velvia. Below is another shot taken near Vernal. The setting sun cast a beautiful orange glow over the grassland.
