The Whirlabout (Polites vibex) is a skipper whichranges from parts of South America northward into the southeastern United States abd Texas. The Whirlabout on the left was near Pearsall, Frio Co., Texas, in November, 2007, and was shot with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
