The White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus) is a large African cormorant. The group seen in the image at left was on the Polokwane Bird Reserve, Limpopo Province, South Africa, in January, 2006. The shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and an EF 500mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
